Our name comes from the kestrel that nest on and near
our farm. The kestrel are a beautifully
colored falcon native to the area. All
of the pictures on our site are pictures we have taken here, including this
one, but for a well written description of this interesting bird, including
some outstanding photographs, see the Wikipedia article.
We’ll be adding photos and information about Kestrel
Meadow, so please check back soon.
We at Kestrel Meadow Alpaca are committed to giving
back to our community, which is why we work with local schools, churches and
the cancer society donating gift baskets (like the ones pictured above) to help
with fund-raisers.
